Lenkster,
Wasn't intended to be funny, reading the series again is a GREAT idea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Do you think there will be any follow-up novels to either Andy Brazil or Win Garano ( spelling? :/ ) . What do you think of this whole movie business?

Yoa are right on the money Ventilatore. I think the book gives a more thorough insite into characters than the previous books. Altough in Scarpetta we got to learn about Kay's childhood. I just can not wait for the next one to see what PC will surprise us with in that one. ;-)))) From what I hear it is gonna be the most revealing of them all ( in reagards to Kay). Pc is such a tease....LOL Man my life is soooo empty without Scarpetta! I need the new book right now. I think I seriously need a therapy!!

Hey Ventilatore,
I've got my copy on the 15.10. and finished it in the early hours of the 18.10. It was awsome, but still can not decide if I like this one better than Scarpetta. The ending in that book was much more dramatic. I loved it. However on the whole I think it was as good as expected. PC definatly is a queen of crime novels. ;-)[/quote]
Hi Lenkster,
PC DEFINITELY is the queen of crime novels- thats undisputed lol. This book was more sombre because (i believe) PC wanted us to delve into the relationships that the characters have between each other. The extrinsic situations within the story were practically irrelevant because she wanted the readers to have a further understanding of the characters and learn things about them that we havent known before. Scarpetta was an entirely different novel to this one because for once, crime wasnt really in the foreground- instead we were delivered all the underlying stuff that makes the charcters tick- this device also makes them seem more real. (opinion)

Life is empty and flat. I finished THE SCARPETTA FACTOR.
I loved it loved it loved it. I think it's my favourite so far.
I'm liking how Benton and Kay's relationship is getting stronger. Will he ever be totally honest with her though?

I just now opened my package from Amazon, thank you international shipping...
It was even faster than I thought.
Anyway I have been refraining myself from coming here, I don't want to spoil my pleasure.
See you all later, I am making tea and shutting myself off from the world for the next few hours so I can read my book.

Loving it so far but only up to p138. I hope it's as good as the last one. Because I'm taking my time with it I have to remind myself who is who though, there seem to be a few new people. I can't help but find the sections where Benton is in (without any of the other main characters) very frustrating. He irks me somehow.
