Hello to the lot of ya,
Randi its nothing wrong with ford Ka they are cute as well. And 180% is a bit steep in my book. So you have a horse thats cool. I have always wanted one. My dad promised to get me one, when I was a little girl, but never did. So now I only have the "horses" in my car LOL. Not many though. Which book are you re-reading now?
The boarding school was not that bad. We used to have lots of fun. Well no parents to tell you off for a start, and not only that it has made me person I am now as Emily pointed out, So all in all it helped. And another point I could not do what you do Emily. It must be very hard, and for one thing night shifts would mess my head up too much. Well done for what you are doing, not many people could.
Hey Emily four sister? Thats sounds like a big family to me. I have only one sister and when we were kids we used to fight like a cat and dog. Not so much when we grew older. Now it is almost impossible cos all of my family lives in Slovakia. I wrote almost because we talk to each other through skype and we do agrue then. LOL
I think I am on chapter 15 or something, as I said yesterday I read till about 1 am. Could not get up this morning to go to work. But man it was worth it. Wait till you read next chapters Emily, it gets very very exciting. The Loup-Garou character is creep no 1. Jamie is so cooool. The conversation she has with Marino will crack you up. Your car sounds really nice, Lenkster. I admit, I had to "Google" it to see what it was....ha ha!! Those are cute! It looks like it would fly, and be lots of fun to drive. I got a Honda because they are made good, and pretty much everyone in my family has one; well, my four sisters all do. Except the only difference is they have Accords.
I have been reading, but really slowly. I just got on Chapter 8, I'm about five pages into it. I can't wait to get into "Blow Fly"; one of Kay's cases takes place in Louisiana; where I live! Sooooooo cool! I'm not sure if the storyline is set in my state, or if she's just like an outside physician on it, I guess I'll have to wait and see!! I read that in the synopsis on PC's site. I cheat, I can't help it, I read the synopsis of the next one before I finish the one I'm on.....I can't help it *LOL*

YO Guys
I am back.
My car is Fiat Abarth. It is the sporting. Loves the corners when I take it on the country roads. It flies. I like the Honda as well , my mate has got one. Did not read for two days, have got quite serious withdrawer. Need a fix, will probably read till gone midnight. I wonder who will wake me up in the morning. Never mind it will be worth it.
My job may sound great but iit is only ok, to put it mildly. And I used to be very shy untill I turn 14. Then I went to boarding school and that open my mouth a bit.( had not been able to shut it ever since LOL). I had to take care of myself cos some of the boys had not been acting christian enough. If you know what I mean. LOL It was nothing like good swift kick would not sort out though. HA HA HA just joking!!!! I usually sorted it out with few chosen words.
Anyway better be going and do some serious reading.

Hi Randi and Emily. I am at my friends house at the moment so cant read much, but having too much fun anyway. Picked up my car yesterday guess waht I called it? Well because its an Italian car I had to call it Lucy Farinelli. LOL. I love it its great. I liked what you two doing for living I studed chemistry at school, however now I do the most boring job. I would like to work at the lab somewhere. Currently I work as a manager. Its not very exciting. Never mind pays the bills.
Back to the books I think I am on chapter 8. Like Kays friend Anna. Boy I need somebody like her to sort my head out.
Love the fact Jamie Berger is finally on a scene. I liked her in Scarpetta.
The "girls got to eat" phrase was ment to be non offensive.( not a grocery type joke)LOL.
And yes we girls can take care of ourselves by any means.

First, I don't think your dad and I have the same occupation - his sounds a lot more exciting.
Me, I do the grunt work in the lab :-) Happy to though :-) Looooove working in a lab, it caters to my meticulous mind ;-)
As for your job Emily, I truly admire anyone who works in health care. What you do is hard work from what I hear...
And back to Kay and the gang ;-)
I really hope Lucy has settled down in the upcoming book... The girl has lead a really tough life up till now and she deserves a little R'n'R in her life situation - hopefully with BLEEEEEP from "Scarpetta", cuz that seemed really good for her ;-)

Oh cool.....hi Randi!
Guess what? I have never met another person that does has the same occupation as my Dad, but I just did *LOL* My Dad is an Environmental Consultant. He too keeps our drinking water safe.....COOL!! Sometimes he goes overseas, which is really neat. We get to learn about other places, when he gets back home! It would be neat to have that job.
Me? I'm a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) in an Assisted Living place. I like it very much; I take care of the elderly. Not an ideal job for the rest of your life because of the pay, but for now it pays the bills enough and I enjoy doing it!
Okay.....on to Scarpetta............
From reading the later books first, not knowing it was a series, I too know whats gonna happen *LOL* Shh....don't tell Lenka what happens though! I'm mad I do know ahead, cause it takes some of the fun out of it. But it's still soooooooooo good!!! The first ones I read were: Cause of Death, Predator, Book of The Dead and Black Notice, then finally realized they were a series. Bummer! *LOL* Oh well, I am still very, very, very much enjoying them!! I'm not quite on Chapter 3 of "The Last Precinct".
What??? The Talley situation pays for her food???Or did you mean that in a sexual way.....either way, *LOL* That soooooo made me laugh. Us women can take care of ourselves without men, thank you very much.....ha ha ha ha ha!!!! You're funny! Kay's a strong woman, and am so glad she decided to ditch Talley (for now anyway.....I have no idea what this book holds.)
I am very much enjoying Lucy, she's my other favorite. Kay being my first fave, obviously! I'm sad for her that she got "Admin Leave" from ATF, but I know she will be okay. That girl is a fighter!!! Man...she will find something else! I am glad for her that Jo came out okay. They seem good together, although like Kay, I liked Janet just as well.
Um.....so this Righter dude just showed up at Anna's house. Marino went behind Kay's back, and told Righter, and she had to find out the news from him? Has Marino gone off the deep end? He betrayed Kay, she's his best friend, dude!! Ugh! Unless this guy is lying.....who knows? I gotta keep reading *LOL* That's all I'm saying.....I have no idea where in the story Lenka is.

When I first read Point of origin I was depressed for a week after benton died and I only think I've read it once since... so it's definitely time for me to refresh my memory on the Loup Garou cases :-)
I often have tons of time to read at work if I want to - just gotta load the Chromatograph every 15 minutes - but it just looks so bad when my boss steps in, so I don't do it ;-)

I felt bad for Marino with the Talley situation, but he shouldn't have gotten mad at Kay, or jealous either. I'm glad she has let go a little bit. I couldn't believe when she wanted Benton Wesley's autopsy report faxed to her hotel room in Paris, then she read it!!! Ack! The ultimate heart breaker!!! Marino should not have gone that far as to telling her that he's still alive somewhere; even it he thought he was. Kay does not need that right now! Marino is a great friend though, I'm glad him and Kay have each other. He needs her as much as she needs him!!
I can't wait to find out what happens. I like Kay's friend/psychatrist, Anna. I'm glad that's where Kay will be, and I wish Lucy would go there too. So she can be safe from "werewolf" and also the reporters and news people.
