You're from England? Wow, I've heard it's beautiful there. Yup, here it's been rain, rain and more rain. It's our rainy season though. Summer is what we call "Hurricane Season", here on the Gulf Coast *LOL*

I just started Black Notice today, and I am on Chapter 10. I'm kinda sad about Lucy and Janet, but Jo seems pretty alright! That Detective Bray lady is a punk, and makes me mad that she insults Marino like she does.

You have already read Scarpetta? *LOL* Hopefully much wasn't ruined for you. I totally messed up myself in reading the others first. That's okay, I am still enjoying it, because there's still much to be discovered.

I can't imagine finishing this series. I might die.....I'm gonna need some sort of therapy *ROTFL* Ha ha!! Hopefully, you can find something that interests you, atleast until October. Then you can get lost in "Scarpetta Land" again! :)

Hi, half way through Black Notice. I also read the series wrong way round. I went to the bookstore to pick up some books and picked up two. At the tills the shop assistant said that I can pick up one more book for half price. Guess what I picked up? It was Scarpetta. I did not even know what that book was about. Well I call it devine intervention from God himself . I read it and got hooked. Then I went streight on the good old internet to find out about the series and that is how I found out about this website and you lot. It is great. Keep it going.
Hey ScarpettaRox83 I just found out from previous posts that you are from Alexandria Louisiana. Is it nice over there, or is it like here in England : rain rain and some more rain. Well its nothing like the English summer.

The worst part is when you've finished the last one and realize there isn't a new one to start on... and you have to wait till October... AAAAAARGH.

Fortunately every single one of these books can be reread and reread and reread again ;-)

I've tried to find another author to read in between the Scarpetta publishings, but I'm real picky and maybe a little too fidgety so it's hard for me to get caught up in books.... And lets face it: Nothing beats Scarpetta ;-)

It's okay Lenkster, I too am an addict *LOL* I can't read one without having the next to back it up with. I loooooove Dr. Kay, and hope this series continues for a long time. Clearly, it's already been going for a long time. It's such a great one!

I started them out of order too, Denmark. At first, I read Cause of Death, Book of The Dead and Predator, stopping on Chapter 13 of Black Notice, in that order. It wasn't until a friend told me it was a series, that I began in order.

I am absolutely addicted, though! I'm on chapter 15 on Point of Origin.

Man, I wish I was reading them for the first time again...
I remember when I read Postmortem, I had read half the books but not in order so I started from the beginning. I got home from the library at five in the afternoon and I was finished at five in the morning... had only stopped to pee and get food.

Hi ScarpettaRox83, just finnished Point of origin last night, already started Black notice, if I did not have to go to sleep I would have been half way through it by now. Shame. Love the books. Today I bought last 3 I was missing from the series, so have got all of them just waiting. Can not go one day without reading, yes I know I am Scarpetta addict. Never mind. LOL

Hey, we're on the same book! I also just started "Point of Origin". Where are you in it? I'm just getting on Chapter 5. Can you believe Carrie Grethen? Man, that woman is freaking nuts!!!

I am loving Dr. Kay Scarpetta, and I hope that Ms. Cornwell continues with the series. It's sooooo good.

Also, thanks for the heads up on the release of "The Scarpetta Factor".

Thank you Denmark did not realise the release of this book was just around the corner. Better get cracking with the rest of the books. Just reading Point of origin. Not many to go. I think i can mange it. I am eating them books anyway. LOL
